  Goldberg's in Mattituck has the best and freshest bagels in town. It's great when if you happen to get there when hot bagels are coming out of the oven. They get very busy on weekends, but they have a great staff and the line moves quickly. They offer all types of cream cheese including tofu. Their egg sandwiches are delicious. They also have a whole wheat everything bagel. I recently (5/2016) purchased a dozen plain & everything bagels that were hot & delicious. However, I also purchased one salt bagel that turned out to be stale. This has happened one other time, but it is unusual.
